What does it do?

VenTribe make it easy and entertaining for Facebook friends to come together and chip in to buy a meaningful gift, for a chosen recipient, as a group.

Why do we need it?

Group gifts are awesome but a pain to organize!On VenTribe; inviting,and communicating with, contributors is a breeze. VenTribe collects the money for you, no one is charged until the gift is fully funded,and the order is processed for you.

Who is it for?

VenTribe is a facebook app and so users must have facebook accounts. Besides this, there are no restrictions. Membership and use are free. The function lends itself to existing social groups: friends, family, a book club, sororities e.t.c

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

No one needs to collect the money or have a Paypal account. Our cherry picked collections make choosing a unique gift easy. The Gift Event page presents a central space to interact, manage the event, and track progress.

What’s next?

Enhancements are made on a weekly basis based on user feedback. Features to be improved/coming soon include personalized Wishlists to ensure you only receive/give dream gifts, and a Social Calendar to manage and remind you of occasions.
