What does it do?
UP, is an app to anonymously spread kindness. Anonymity apps like Yik Yak, Whisper and After School have been used to bully and break people down, and I wanted to create a simple app that could inspire and uplift.
Why do we need it?
Anonymous kindness is the best kind. It frees the recipient from embarrassment and the burden of feeling any need to reciprocate. Additionally, performing acts of kindness, without the desire to ever receive recognition is the ultimate.
Who is it for?
Everyone. I want to make being kind an active part of everyone’s daily routine.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
There are no one-on-one postivity, kindness, uplifting apps out there.
What’s next?
We just launched the app, and are trying to get as many people to join the mission. Make the world a more kind place. Be there for one another.
