What does it do?
SparkReceipt makes receipt & document management simpler by eliminating your cluttered drawers and piles of paper receipts, invoices, and bank statements. Track receipts, income & expenses and manage all your business documents.
Why do we need it?
Small business owners (me included) need a simple way to scan, store and organize receipts and other business documents, and share them with an accountant every month. Aside from expensive accounting software, support for all this is rare.
Who is it for?
Individuals and especially small business owners who need a simple solution for teams up to 5 people. If they use an accountant for heavy lifting then only storing and organizing receipts, tracking expenses & income is mostly relevant.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
While receipt scanner apps are plentiful on the app store, I had to develop my own for these reasons:
– Uses faster OCR for receipt data.
– Supports comma as decimal separator.
– Tracks income.
– Stores other documents.
– Has a web app.
Next steps for app growth:
1. Listen to customer feedback.
