What does it do?
MedManage has a wide range of uses including monitoring chronic diseases, elder and geriatric care management, birth control reminders, and even the ability to help monitor opioid and other potential dangerous substance abuse.
Why do we need it?
Many chronically ill and geriatric patients take 4+ medications at once making it difficult to remember when and how to properly take them.
Also, many patients in these and other scenarios don’t even know the names of their medications.
Who is it for?
The app is mainly for people with chronic illness who take multiple medications and their family members/caregivers but can be useful for anybody taking prescription drugs such as birth control, pain killers, asthma inhalers, etc.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
MedManage looks for research institutions and contract organizations to buy aggregated data, but users are asked to opt-in beforehand and receive a share of the compensation. We don’t sell users data but connect them to people that buy it.
What’s next?
We plan to expand from a consumer app to a fully HIPAA compliant, telehealth enabled solution. This will allow MedManage to be used in nursing homes, pharmacies (for medication reviews), assisted living communities, and rehab centers.
