What does it do?

eco.tour will be the world’s first all-in-one, environmentally conscious travel app that will help users make the best, green decisions and reduce the environmental impact of travel. Offering routes, eco-hotels, activities and Carbon Count.

Why do we need it?

The tourism industry accounts for 8% of all global emissions. To stay under the 1.5° Paris agreement goal, we need to reduce emissions by 7% a year. We don’t want to live without travel, but we can’t live without the planet.

Who is it for?

This app is for everyone who loves to travel abroad. This is the kind of app that will empower the average traveller: aware of the impact of flight/hotels etc. but doesn’t know what to do about it. This app is for everyone.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

There is NO website or app on the market that offers THIS service. Which is surprising because the market is out there! People want to travel sustainably, travellers are conscious of the impact of tourism – even the industry wants change!

What’s next?

We need funding to get the MVP finally on the market. In the first few hours of the kickstarter campaign we already achieved 3% of the goal funds. We just need a little push. After funding/publishing, we will engage our hotels and companies
