What does it do?
Its a web application that connects users looking to offer rides in a carpool or users looking for a ride to work or another location. But heres the kicker, you can only form carpools with people inside a common organization.
Why do we need it?
Most people do what they can to be green and earth friendly, so why not offer a ride if you have the space, or catch a ride if you dont want to use your car. Not only does it help the environment, but its also a cheaper alternative.
Who is it for?
Anyone and everyone who wants to offer a ride or find a ride.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
When a user signs up, they choose an organization which could be anything such as a University, corporate building or local business. This gives a peace of mind because the user knows they are sharing rides with someone they could know.
What’s next?
We bootstrapped our launch with a general feature set such as weather, live traffic conditions, and other small things. But now we are trying to add features such as SMS alerts, a mobile app and other ideas to improve social connections.
