Company / App Name: Thinkability
What does it do?
Together with the University of Nottingham in the UK, we’ve launched an app for people with dementia. The app has 21 activities that designed to stimulate conversation and to reactivate the brain, using audio, video, images and games.
Why do we need it?
When you take care of a person with dementia, you often run out of things to speak about. This app is is a social tool that encourage people to play games, but also to answer questions like: which painting do you like the most and why..?
Who is it for?
It is meant for people with mild to moderate dementia
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
It is a very visual app with very nice images and video, it combines entertainment with real live questions that make people think about their live
