What does it do?
Rotoy is a coding robot toy that will get children, especially girls excited about tech. We do that by combining progressive coding missions and storytelling into a learn- and play activity, with long-term user engagement.
Why do we need it?
We need more people, especially women in tech. Our toy will encourage both genders to play with robots and will foster curiosity. The comb. of storytelling and complex subjects like robotics & coding, resulted in 45% better comprehension.
Who is it for?
Rotoy is for children in the age of 8 to 12, who are into tech and games- like Minecraft. We are intentional when we build our content, and our toy, to have learning features that are proven to work both for boys and girls.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
What we do differently is provide our users with unique stories that in an exciting and easy way guide a child on their journey in learning how to code. With our subscription model, users can have long term content of play and education
When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?
This September we will launch our Kickstarter campaign where users will be able to purchase our Rotoy 2.0 version. We had a successful launch in Denmark last year, and this time we want to go international
When do you plan on launching?
We will launch this September and have a delivery in this December and January 2024.
