Zomato has helped users discover great places to eat at around them with the fresh, exhaustive and accurate data that it provides. Zomato adds value to two sets – users and restaurant owners through the in-depth information it provides.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Our unique feet on street model to collect restaurant information helps us stand out from the crowd. Our data collectors gather restaurant data, sourced first hand from restaurants and update it every 90 days.

What’s next?

We recently raised USD 37 million from Sequoia Capital and Info Edge (India) Limited, taking our total funding to USD 53.5 million. We plan to take Zomato to 20 countries in the next 2 years along with doubling our team strength.
