What does it do?
Trackprofiler is an online editor for GPS tracks. Users can upload their tracks or create new from scratch and then fix elevations, wayponts, geocode images, join or split them.
Why do we need it?
GPS receivers are not perfect in most outdoor situations. They sometimes measure wrong latitude/longitude or elevations. Or users forget to turn them off when finish with their hike/mtb trip so they need to remove part of the track later.
Who is it for?
Mountainbikers, mountaineers, hikers, roadbikers, outdoor entusiasts, GPS users.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Most other sites for GPS tracks are specialized to just sharing tracks and if they have track editing options they are pretty basic.
