What does it do?

We are a budget travel guide for backpackers in Australia. We focus on the best stuff, the free stuff, the local stuff in each place as well as having a step-by-step guide to the practical elements of being on a working holiday.

Why do we need it?

Because we know what backpackers want. How? Because we are backpackers ourselves! The Backpacking App provides great content, tailored and curated by backpackers, effectively bringing the trusted travel guide into the digital age.

Who is it for?

Backpackers in Australia who are there on a working holiday visa for two or more months.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

The integrity of our content is what sets us apart. That and the quality of our content. When backpackers go to a new place, they know that they can whip out The Backpacking App and get the exact suggestions they were hoping for.

We want to do Australia and do it really bloody well! As the app develops we will update the features to include community aspects such as rideshares, location specific backpacker market places and jobs board.
