What does it do?
Skimbox is an enterprise mail app that uses smart technology to reduce email overload. Important email goes in your mainbox; everything else goes in skimbox. Skimbox is available on iOS for Gmail and Microsoft Exchange.
Why do we need it?
You need it if you’ve ever missed an important email. You need it if you’ve ever made a mental note to respond to an important email, and then forgot to do so. Basically, you need it if you spend more time on email than you\’d like.
Who is it for?
People who get a high volume of emails, particularly if many of them do not require response. Particularly, in our research, we’ve found that journalists, C-levels, lawyers, and VCs tend to fit this profile.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
In three words: intelligent pre-sorting. In more: because the Skimbox classifier bases its classification on you and you alone, you don’t have to set up any rules, and your email preferences can change as much as you’d like.
What’s next?
Currently, the Skimbox classification is only available as an app. Our next step will be to integrate Skimbox with Outlook, so the transition from phone to desktop is seamless.
