What does it do?
Playground is designed to leverage the built-in step counting features of the iPhone and Apple Watch, as well as the user’s existing Facebook friends list, to provide them with a fun way to get fit together.
Why do we need it?
We want to get the world moving through community, togetherness and friendly competition; we believe in the “quantified we”. We’ve found that cooperation and competition are incredibly motivating in the journey towards being healthier.
Who is it for?
Anyone who can go for a walk, and wants their steps to contribute to both personal and group accomplishments. The millions of users who have a smartphone and no fitness tracker, but are still interested in competing and cooperating.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
It’s incredibly easy to get started with your existing friends and family, it works with the phone you already have on you, and we provide cooperation through group challenges and communities, rather than just competition.
