What does it do?

Message Near is a fun and easy way to share your life with friends based on their real-life location. Simply capture a moment, set a delivery location, and select potential recipients for your message.

Why do we need it?

Near aims to combat algorithmic censorship in social media. We are empowering content creators to control distribution of their online content.

Who is it for?

Message Near is ideal for those who don’t want to constantly share their location directly with friends (e.g. Find My Friends, Nearby Friends, etc.), but still want to be able to share photos and text by location.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Near has a stupidly simple User Experience! We’ve drastically cut down on the number of steps required to send location-based messages.

What’s next?

We hope to build more content distribution tools for creators. Location is simply one form of content targeting and we plan to expand into interest-based targeting next.
