Luunr is a realtime discussion platform that encourages users to talk to people beyond their existing friends list.

Why do we need it?

The world is bigger than facebook, twitter, and google plus.

We need a new way to explore it and make new friends based on interests, topics, and projects.

Who is it for?

Everyone. No seriously, Luunr is literally for everyone. We need an equalizing social platform that scales based on what we’re doing and what we enjoy, not just who we already know.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Luunr is unique but familiar. We all experienced lack-luster chat from 1995 and its progression toward async twitter posts; current tools fallback on existing social circles. Luunr focuses on content first and branches out to new people.

What’s next?

We’re just getting started with Luunr. We think discussion is the perfect beginning for a platform that opens doors to actually working with other people (instead of just talking about things).
