What does it do?

Free Code Camp helps you learn to code, then practice by building projects for nonprofits. Our 1,600 hour full stack web development curriculum is free, self-paced and browser-based.

Why do we need it?

Learning to code and getting a coding job is hard. Free Code Camp has a rigorous curriculum and a supportive community to help you get there.

Who is it for?

Busy adults. Most of our campers are 25+ years old, and have jobs and kids.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Our open source community is built from the ground up with busy adults in mind. We know that learning to code is hard, and takes time. So we make this process as convenient as possible by being free, self-paced and browser-based.

What’s next?

We’re launching a free certificate program for Front End Development and Full Stack Web Development. We’re also launching a commuter-friendly mobile experience.
