What does it do?

You can request that family and friends send you the cost equivalent of what they would have spent on sending you greeting cards. You can post your requests to Facebook and then receive cash gifts via PayPal.

Why do we need it?

We spend £1.5bn a year in the UK sending 2bn cards. Many of these end up in the bin. Short product shelf life. We are locked into reciprocating cards as we have not had a real online alternative to date. Massive environmental savings.

Who is it for?

For those that are not bothered about getting cards as they do not find them that funny or heartwarming, and would rather put the combined cost to better use – celebrating their occasion with an experience or supporting a good cause.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

This is an entirely new online take on greeting cards. Helps solve the problem of binning wasteful – and in many cases – overpriced, cards. Provides a unique way to fundraise by not asking for more money but by simply not spending on cards.

What’s next?

To encourage consumers to consider celebrating their occasions in a new way. Would love to hear your feedback!
