Company / App Name: When I Was A Human
What does it do?
WHEN I WAS A HUMAN: THE MOVIE is a humorous and poignant feature film, based on a successful short film, about an adopted pup who embarks on a magical quest to reclaim his owner’s love and find his own identity.
Why do we need it?
Major film studios left open a big gap to be filled by a film like we produce, an original PG-rated movie with a good message. There are many neglected movie fans who are tired of franchises and superhero movies.
Who is it for?
Target audience: Underserved film fans, tired of the current selections of movies overloaded with sequels and spin-offs.
Niche audience: Dog owners (A study shows 63.4 million U.S. households own dogs.) and animal enthusiasts. Worldwide.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Our movie has mass-market appeal (= dogs + good message) with a global reach. It puts us in a unique and potentially lucrative position, unlike other independent films.
We will package the movie by attaching known actor(s) upon a minimum raise of $50k, and continue our raise while we begin three-month preproduction before starting 20-day principal photography, followed by three-month post-production.
