Company / App Name: Webplanner
What does it do?
Webplanner is an online collaborative project management application from Experience in Software, makers of Project KickStart. Feature-filled but easy to learn, Webplanner lets you plan and schedule any project in under 30 minutes.
Why do we need it?
Webplanner’s brainstorming wizard breaks complicated projects into simple steps. Information from the wizard automatically populates an adjustable Gantt chart. Team members can log on anywhere to upload files and log their progress.
Who is it for?
Webplanner is intuitive but powerful, a flexible and affordable alternative to solutions like Basecamp and MS Project. It is a wonderful choice for project managers working with team members who do not have time to learn a clunky program.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Webplanner’s intuitive design and on-screen instructions make the program accessible to novice project-planners. However, it still has all the tools a professional would look for, such as a critical path view and task dependencies.
Webplanner is in beta with all features available for free. The official version will be launched August 2nd.
We’re currently working on multi-project reports, a mobile app, and further compatibility with other programs.
