What does it do?

Sparrow is a navigation software that provides you with two features: a live, community-updated map and a compass that points to a physical destination or other people’s devices, instead of pointing you to magnetic north.

Why do we need it?

Existing map technologies are not detailed enough and only show you roads, buildings, and landmarks. Additionally, current navigation apps confine your travel to mapped paths/roads. In Sparrow, you follow an arrow until you get there.

Who is it for?

Sparrow is designed for people who want a better local navigation tool. It’s made for those looking to discover events and cool spots near them, and to find friends and family in areas where it’s difficult to do so.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

There is currently no tool that seamlessly combines locational information (in the form of the highly detailed map) with the ability to simply and easily get you to your destination or friends/family.

What’s next?

We look forward to adding more algorithm-generated map features, public location broadcasts for businesses, and a chat for easy communication when you are navigating to other devices in updates in the near future. After that, more to come!
