What does it do?

Calculates both individual and total cost, interest earned and redemption value of any and all I, E or EE series savings bonds. It can value bonds individually or can read and value a list of bonds stored in a spreadsheet (xlsx or csv).

Why do we need it?

The Treasury Direct used to offer a product called The Savings Bond Wizard, which was a tool with similar spreadsheet import capabilities. This tool has recently been retired, creating a gap in the market for such a product.

Who is it for?

1. Any individual who has purchased and is looking to find the current (and historical) redemption value of their savings bonds.

2. Individuals looking for an alternative option to the decomissioned Savings Bond Wizard.
