What does it do?

The Wikipedia of News – Crowdsourced News Timelines & Biographies.

Why do we need it?

Wikipedia’s 10-year-old software model is simply not suitable to create a high-quality multimedia news archive.

Who is it for?

Our target audience is people all over the world who currently use Wikipedia as a reference: some 76 million monthly users in English.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Unlike most content companies, we believe that that the people who create the content for our site should be paid for their work and pay our writers $1 per post. Our writers have earned 1000\’s of dollars adding content to the site.

What’s next?

Scaling the business. We are currently building a semi-automated editorial approval system that will allow us to handle thousands of writers and millions of newslines.
