What does it do?

Newseon is a mobile app that contains audio playlists of news snippets from various topics, with a focus on tech and entrepreneurship. The snippets are short – about 15 to 30 seconds in length.

Why do we need it?

We’ve noticed that not only is it time-consuming to set time out each day to search through news, we often end up a third of the way through an article and realize it’s not interesting or useful.

Who is it for?

University students and morning commuters.

1. Knowledge hungry, strive to stay up to date on current news.
2. Frustrated with fake news from social media.
3. Have busy schedules, not enough time to chase every story.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

The ease of use and it’s one-click interface.
