NewsBytes is India’s first explanatory journalism portal which provides current affairs news, information & News in context on politics, sports, business, tech and more. Our aim is to reduce information overload in your everyday news.

Why do we need it?

We answer the first 5 questions that come to the users’ mind on reading a news headline. We cover Latest & Breaking News, India News, World, Sports, Business, Politics, Technology and Entertainment News.

Who is it for?

the app aims to target youth between 21 to 27 years of age, especially those who consider English to be an aspirational language. This group lacks the patience to read through long articles and prefers summarized news.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

solving the problem of sorting out relevant content and presenting it with a proper context. Positioning itself mid-way between the long form of journalism and short form, the company aims to filter out the most apt news .

What’s next?

Going forward, the company will explore the option of sponsored content as well as selling its API to publishers. But that’s for the future.
