What does it do?

Hobby Wants is online auctions redefined. We took the whole concept of auctions and flipped it upside down, so buyers post what they want and sellers compete to sell them their items.

Why do we need it?

Hobby Wants was started in 2013 after a bad experience with one of the larger auction sites. This experience got us thinking about the problems that auction sites have, and in some cases how unfair they are to buyers. We decided to fix it.

Who is it for?

Hobby Wants is for collectors and hobbyist alike. We only deal in collectibles and hobby items (like coins, stamps, trains, toys etc.). If you collect something and need something special, then its for you.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

No more sellers making all the rules. On Hobby Wants the Buyer posts what they want, and what they are willing to pay for it. The buyer also defines the delivery methods and if the seller likes the posting he can respond and make a deal.

What’s next?

Get a large user base of happy collectors listen to their thoughts and needs and then build accordingly.
