What does it do?
Get Galavanting is the first and only travel app/platform to tell you how long to stay in a place and where to go before and after, all based on user-inputted data from travelers like you.
Why do we need it?
Determining trip length is an essential step in the travel planning process. It’s the only step that’s not already clearly covered by another resource, unless you want to scour travel blogs and TripAdvisor posts, but who wants to do that?
Who is it for?
Anyone who has limited vacation days and/or limited time to travel who needs to be smart about how they use their vacation days.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
It’s the first and only resource of its kind! Unlike travel blogs, Trip Advisor, etc. it utilizes user-inputted data to provide a quantitative, crowd-sourced, average, matched, answer to the question “How long should I stay in …?”
What’s next?
More users! And a “reverse” approach to what we currently have, where users can input a number of days and nights in addition to their preferences. The app would then output suggested cities. Mimicking the app on the site is next, too.
