What does it do?

gBridge.io is a unique solution that allows to connect any smart home automation software or any smart home device (even if made as a DIY project) to voice assistants like Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

Why do we need it?

Voice assistants are getting more and more popular. However, currently we need to rely on the different manufacturers of these devices to allow them getting controlled via voice. gBridge allows to integrate possibly any device independently

Who is it for?

gBridge is a project for anyone who wants to use all the advantages of voice assistants. Especially the DIY and open source community is thrilled by the project.

With gBridge, you’ve got one solution for all the automation software out there. That means, one united community helping each other out with problems – regardless of the software, device or integration you’d want to use.

What’s next?

Currently, a Kickstarter campaign is running. After successful funding, more development efforts will be invested in boosting the Alexa integration of gBridge (currently only in beta), as well as general improvements and UI/UX refinement.
