What does it do?
There are apps for banking. There are apps for communicating. Digital Keyway is an app for signing you in. It is not a password manager. Instead, it uses your computer or smart device to securely sign you into your favorite websites.
Why do we need it?
Passwords can be stolen, forgotten, shared, or hacked. Till now, the solution was to demand that users create more passwords of ever increasing complexity. But with Digital Keyway, we can stop using passwords altogether.
Who is it for?
Digital Keyway is for the general public. Apps will be available for Android and iPhones, Windows and Mac desktops. Web sites operators can incorporate adopt Digital Keyway technology thanks to its use of standard protocols (open-id)
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
It is a security solution that has no passwords. In fact there are no usernames. A users personal device identifies the user.
What’s next?
Right now, we are in alpha testing with an Android, Windows, and Linux client. We hope to be in beta testing by September 2016. Development of clients for OSX and iPhone will begin shortly.
