Cancer U is an online membership platform for cancer patients and caregivers that educates and empowers them to become advocates for their cancer care in order to improve outcomes and reduce costs.

Why do we need it?

Cancer is one of the biggest killers of our time. One out of three Americans will experience cancer in their lifetime. Cancer U empowers and educates patients and caregivers through coaching, teaching, and training in an online university.

Who is it for?

Female and male newly diagnosed cancer patients and their caregivers living in the United States ages 30 – 70 who speak English as a primary language.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Cancer U is designed to mimic a university setting with online courses, campuses (i.e., treatment centers), community, library, professors (i.e., medical experts), events, and more.

What’s next?

We have already created our flagship course The Proactive Patient, which serves as an orientation to the world of cancer. Our Kickstarter project launched last week; it will help us develop six more courses.
