What does it do?

TRI mines reviews for electronics from across sources on the internet & presents an unbiased, feature-wise summary scorecard of the aggregate opinion to the end user. A search based discovery engine helps discover based on high level needs.

Why do we need it?

There is a lot of opinionated unstructured content online for products, in the form of blogs, videos, user/expert reviews. It’s impossible for an individual to interpret a significant amount of this data, and yet make an informed decision.

Who is it for?

The product will benefit anyone who is looking to discover, research and eventually buy electronics. It simplifies the online research and decision making process by presenting review summaries.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

You’ll find a lot of price, spec and review aggregators out there. TRI not only does the aggregation but also mines reviews for topics/sentiment and presents a summary scorecard, so you don’t have to spend time figuring it out yourself.

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

Currently, our demo site showcases few example categories. We are collecting feedback from new users on which categories and countries they’d like to see. Depending on the interest, we plan to launch 20 categories and 3 countries by March

When do you plan on launching?

We plan to go live with 3 countries and 20 categories by the end of March. The categories and countries will be picked based on new user interest.
