What does it do?

On The Shelf crowd-sources vital information about stores to help you make safer, smarter shopping decisions. Get relevant information including store inventory levels, entry line wait times, updated business hours, and more.

Why do we need it?

The risk of exposure to COVID-19 is still pretty high even when exercising extreme caution and social distancing. The act of shopping has become a dangerous game of predicting when foot traffic is at its minimum levels.

Who is it for?

On The Shelf is for people that live in large, dense metropolitan areas that go to physical stores to shop. They are technologically savvy and time efficient, and thus seek out the safest and most productive ways to shop.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

We emphasize the communal aspect of shopping, giving our users the ability to help each other and foster a sense of community. We also consolidate the most useful information into one central platform, which no other app currently does.

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

We are currently looking for concept validation and feedback on our landing page. Our mobile app is still in development, but we plan on beta testing an app with users by late June.
