What does it do?

MergeBoard is a web-based code review software that increases the efficiency of software development teams by making it easier to understand complex code changes and by streamlining the review process.

Why do we need it?

Software developers spend about 5 hours per week on code reviews according to a study by Microsoft from 2016. By reducing the time spent on code reviews, developers can focus on other tasks, such as developing new features.

Who is it for?

MergeBoard can be used by all software development teams which use git as version control system and are interested in code reviews. Our software can be integrated into existing workflows due to its support for external bugtrackers and CIs.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

MergeBoard filters out changes that do not affect the program logic (e.g. styling changes) and makes reviewing code refactorings easy by indicating how code blocks are moved and by grouping similar changes (e.g. variable renames) together.
