What does it do?
Waldo is an intelligent alarm system for urban cyclists that keeps you connected to your bike anytime, anywhere. It is comprised of a device that is mounted on the bike and a mobile app.
Why do we need it?
Waldo addresses one important issue: bicycle security in cities. To give you an idea of its size, more than 400 000 bikes were stolen in France alone in 2012 [1].

Who is it for?
Waldo protects your bicycle. It focuses on prevention, but also allows you to locate your bike using GPS. On the prevention side, Waldo notifies the owner in case the bike is being tampered with and triggers a loud alarm.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Unlike other products on the market, Waldo is almost impossible to take off . This is due to its electronic locking system and its strong metal arm that keeps the device firmly on the bike.
What’s next?
In March, 2015, we shall launch a free mobile app for cyclists that detects bike shops in your proximity.
In May, 2015, we will launch our crowdfunding campaign.
