What does it do?

Localize your Ruby on Rails applications using t(‘.keys’) or _(‘free text’) and synchronize with your translators and/or your marketing team.

Why do we need it?

We think dealing with YAML keys is not the best way to translate (using keys) and that Gettext (using source text) should be preferred. It will speed up your work and increase your productivity.

Who is it for?

Developers who are creating a web application using Ruby on Rails and want a smooth process to translate it.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

We created a gem for Ruby on Rails that lets you translate without worrying about the underlying system (GetText or YAML). That’s the smoothest way to translate and to synchronize with translators and we are the only one to provide that.

What’s next?

Other specific web applications to other languages (Javascript & Mobile). A lot of our translating interface/workflow could be reused.
