What does it do?

Thrive Games is a video game development studio based out of Toronto, Canada, and is working on a 2D online action RPG called Dragon of Legends that features action based combat, modern pixel art, Viking mythology, and cross-platform play.

Why do we need it?

With a 2D retro-inspired design, Dragon of Legends aims to satisfy those nostalgic urges with a familiar action based combat system while pushing the boundaries of multiplayer interactivity by offering seamless play across devices.

Who is it for?

Those who grew up playing games on a Super Nintendo know how radically different the industry is today. With Dragon of Legends, we are bringing back the magic that made the games of yesteryear great while incorporating new modern mechanics.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Community involvement is essential to our product, and we are fostering a creative mentality among our users. From creating weaponry, to levels themselves, gamers will be provided with the tools to truly shape the game world around them.

What’s next?

The project is currently in development and is now live on Kickstarter. Our funding goal has been obtained in two days, and we are now reaching even further to maximize our success. More money means a better product, developed faster.
