What does it do?
‘Tapete’ is just the German word for wallpaper. And surprise… it’s yet another wallpaper app. There is nothing special about ‘Tapete’. It features neither innovation nor uniqueness. So better stop reading now…
Why do we need it?
If you need it? I don’t know. You like those boring wallpapers, that are perfectly unique, look awesome and meet your preferences as well? Then yes, maybe you should try out ‘Tapete’. But don’t expect too much.
Who is it for?
Well there might even be a target group. I think it’s more for ‘the crazy ones. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.’ (Apple Inc.) Though it’s only available for Android.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
There are about millions of apps trying to personalize mobile devices. What do they offer? Prepared wallpapers – this can’t be personalization at all. ‘Tapete’ thinks different(ly). It uses geometric shapes and colors to generate ALL NEW.
What’s next?
We think about replacing our salesman who wrote this pitch. He has seemed a little unenthusiastic lately. But seriously: The possibilities of image-generation are endless. Many features are planned for the future. Not only digital ones.
