What does it do?

StartSomeGood.com is a global crowdfunding platform for anyone wanting to create positive social change. We host ventures, guide them through a successful campaign, and ensure safe, secure transfer of funds so ventures can start working.

Why do we need it?

StartSomeGood was created to remove the barriers to raising financial, intellectual, & relational capital that changemakers need to make positive social change. We provide the platform and guidance, entrepreneurs bring the ideas & passion.

Who is it for?

While our focus is on social entrepreneurship as a vehicle for creating change we support all forms of changemaking: entrepreneurial, advocacy and activism, community organizing, research and information provision and inspiration.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

We host groups of any incorporation type, and we also have a unique tipping point fundraising model, where ventures select an amount needed to start their project and an ultimate fundraising goal. Ventures keep funds once they tip.

What’s next?

We are launching a corporate partnership with ING Direct, who is offering matching grants to Australian ventures launched on StartSomeGood.com. We are also partnering with Bucky Box on their Local Food Challenge.
