What does it do?
Realo is a European real estate portal with homes for sale and for rent. We want to help people make better real estate decisions by giving them access to more information. To do this, we use open data sources form local governments.
Why do we need it?
Buying a home is an expensive decision to make, so you need as info as possible. But will the broker tell you about the high flood risk area the house is located in? They’re not. That’s where Realo’s Neighbourhood Information comes in.
Who is it for?
Realo is for anyone planning on buying, selling or renting a home. Our users are families looking for a new home, young professionals looking for a first rental, real estate investors and real estate agents wanting to use a reliable portal.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Open data: Realo uses open data to provide users with more info about homes and their area, but also to calculate the value of each home in Belgium with a complex algorithm.
Mobile first: the Realo app works on iOS, Android & Windows.
What’s next?
Realo wants to become the best, fastest and most reliable website to buy, sell and rent (out) a home in Europe. The international expansion will start with Spain at the end of 2016.
