What does it do?

Populist is like a location-based twitter. It allows you to anonymously connect with those around you at an an amazing event, allowing you to share messages and photos instantly. No event setup necessary. If you’re there, you’re in.

Why do we need it?

Populist lends you the technology to connect to those around you without making your identity public. Suddenly, everybody that you want to talk to is already a “friend.” Pictures and messages are shared effortlessly and temporarily.

Who is it for?

Anybody who attends crowd-worthy events and has ever wanted to know something like “when does the band get here?” or wanted to instantly view photos from backstage.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Existing social media is user-centered, focusing on YOUR selfies (Facebook) or someone elses thoughts (Twitter). Populist is event-centered & connects you to people you already have something in common with: the event you’re already at.
