What does it do?

MyJobDiscovery helps both passive/aggressive job seekers find better job opportunities. It allows users to search the company they currently work for, and it will show an aggregated list of the top companies that employees worked for next.

Why do we need it?

I’ve spoken to a lot of people in the Washington DC area that are ready to move on to a new job, but struggle to find something that they are excited about. Before you know it, you’re stuck in a career path you’re not happy with.

Who is it for?

Passive job seekers, Active job seekers, Unemployed, Students, Veterans

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

If you go on Linkedin and search your company, you can see all the individuals in your network that work for your company, but you can’t see a list of what companies employees moved to next.

What’s next?

Eventually we want to start working directly with recruiters and employers and involve them with the website so we can connect job seekers on our site. We also want to build out mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows.
