What does it do?
Microcade systems has developed the Microcade–a small, portable, modifiable, and stylish arcade cabinet. It supports over 35 consoles along other classic arcade systems, such as full sized arcade cabinets.
Why do we need it?
Have you always wanted to play classic arcade games, but don’t have the space for a traditionally sized arcade cabinet? Do you want to play all those games of your childhood, but don’t have the means of getting each console?
Who is it for?
The target customer profile includes a large populous. Anywhere from young teens to young adults. Since this a product designed to fit in any environment (home, work, cabin, etc.) it is not limited to a geographic region.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
The key word is modularity, with both the components and housing. For example, customers can add extra player components, rearrange the housing to accommodate more players, update the processor, add various audio outputs, etc.
What’s next?
Complete overhaul of production process, this will allow for very fast and efficient turnaround times for custom orders. This includes inventory building, in-house laser cutting, and a full team to help assemble, and perfect the Microcade.
