What does it do?
JOBBOX.io is solving the problem of tech job searching and hiring with a referral-based platform. Techies get curated job offers, referrers get rewards and companies save time by offloading the sourcing and pre-filtering of candidates.
Why do we need it?
Tech recruitment right now is broken, tedious, impersonal, and in dire need of a change. We, like others, noticed this need and are tackling it with our experience, our technology, and a personal touch normally missing in the hiring process
Who is it for?
Techies who feel that finding a decent tech job is hard. People with techie friends who are struggling with their career and want to help them. Companies that do not have the time or budget to spend on hiring but still expect decent results
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
We are tackling the problem from a user centric perspective, for both the candidates and companies. We guarantee anonimity and quality. We do not post job offers we would not apply to ourselves, and do not pass on mediocre applications.
What’s next?
An improved match making algorithm. We have a soup of potential candidates that we need to suggest valid job offers to. We are working on a better way to cluster our users and maximize the fit between them and the companies/job offers.
