Company / App Name: GitMonitor

https://gitmonitor.com
Twitter – GitMonitorApp

What does it do?

Setup custom rules around pull requests, commits and committers for all your Github repositories. For example, you create a rule that says “no direct commits are allowed to the master, develop or production branches”.

Why do we need it?

We’ve all worked with a developer or new teammate who didn’t understand the proper git flow, and ends up making a commit or putting code somewhere harmful. Monitoring your GitHub repositories allows big teams to move very fast.

Who is it for?

Developers who want to encourage their co-workers to follow good commit patterns.
Team Leaders who have a specific set of rules they want to enforce on their dev team.
CTOs & Managers who have multiple teams and multiple code to look after.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

GitMonitor is one of the only tools available to actually teach developers proper git flow in a real world environment.

What’s next?

We are consistently adding new rules to monitor for, so that software development teams big and small can trust that their most important code is coding practices are clean and always being followed.
