What does it do?

Gigbloc lets you explore and discover local live music playing in your city by letting you LISTEN to the bands playing gigs across your city, over the next week.

Why do we need it?

Gig listings website don’t let you listen to the artists playing gigs, so finding a live music night involves lots of searching around various music websites to find out if you like a local band playing nearby. It is now easy and fun.

Who is it for?

Gigbloc is for city dwellers who want to experience their local live music scene, and to discover the latest bands, but don’t have time to individually search for the music for the bands playing nearby.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

The passive listening experience, as a playlist, makes it unique, fun and easy to use.

What’s next?

We’re going to scale to more cities, and also improve the amount of bands we can feature by adding more music data sources, such as YouTube. Currently the music is all sourced from SoundCloud.
