What does it do?
MailDroid is an ad-supported Webdav/POP3/IMAP Idle Push email client written for Android. MailDroid supports multiple email accounts for your email management with no limitation. MailDroid has tons of features for the casual to biz user.
Why do we need it?
The standard email app is not great and the Gmail client is OK for those that use just Gmail. Some other clients are good but they store your mail on their server. MailDroid is a pure mail client speaking to your server and it just works!
Who is it for?
We made the app work for casual users who just need a basic mail client and for business users who need all the extra little features. The app is simple to use and powerful enough to make it do just about anything you want.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
We have been around 4+ years on Android. We are the only client with a spam plugin and full cryptography support (PGP and sMIME). We listen to our users constantly and are always upgrading the app based on feedback.
What’s next?
Updates, upgrades, more features. People who use the app, build the app with feedback. We could not have gotten this far without our users and we would like to get more and more users to give more feedback to continue building it out.
