What does it do?

EdFundr is an iOS application that is designed to help “causes” at Universities (student groups, departments, programs, clubs etc..) raise funds for their activities.

Why do we need it?

Higher Education is in crisis. People don’t want to give back because they don’t feel good about giving to a place where they have a lot of debt and they don’t trust where the money is going, and funding is being cut from worthwhile causes.

Who is it for?

This app is for causes at institutions to do the fundraising; as well as alumni, friends, family, and supporters of those causes, who believe in what they are doing and want to be apart of the experience.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

EdFundr is a completely grassroots product! It is a 3rd party platform that allows the causes to raise funds directly without making donors go through University donation platforms, while keeping all the donations are tax deductible!

What’s next?

EdFundr is currently running a grassroots campaign to get more causes on the platform, and get more users feedback on the experience on the app. The vision is to eventually incorporate 360 video, streaming services, and much more!
