Company / App Name: ARoglyph

https://aroglyph.com/
Twitter – aroglyph

What does it do?

With ARoglyph you can place notes, voice comments or pictures to locations on the new layer of reality. Those marks can be seen by any or only chosen people, and those people can read, listen, comment and share marks.

Why do we need it?

Typical social networks require previous contacts (friend base) to communicate effectively. Also social networks are not location-bound. In opposite ARoglyph offers people communicate with both existing friends and find new contacts nearby.

Who is it for?

Youngsters who want to express themselves. People with disabilities, who want to establish new offline contacts. Tourists, who share opinions about places with later visitors. Businesses, that need to reach prospective customers nearby.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

– The user doesn’t need friends and followers to view and interact with marks or create new ones
– Information is available to everyone nearby. Visibility of information is defined by geographic criteria and not by social links of the user

What’s next?

Augmented Reality will be completed with 3D virtual marks. Private messages between people will be offered. Alerts will be added to let users know when new marks of interest appear nearby.
