What does it do?

Urban Challenger is an app/card deck with engaging travel challenges and hands-on activities for exploring cities in a fun and novel way. Take on a challenge and get tidbits, maps and useful links in the app along the way.

Why do we need it?

Most guide books and travel apps are not engaging. Our content is focusing on fun activities, which will guide you to exciting locations, get you in touch with local people and acquire new skills related to the foreign culture.

Who is it for?

Urban Challenger is for people who want to be active explorers and interact with the people around them on their journey.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

We like the challengers mindset — that of leaving our personal comfort zones — because it’s where the magic happens. It also gives us some pretty amazing stories to tell. Combining that with traveling as a new and unique approach.

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

You can signup for a beta invitation on one of our cities BERLIN http://urbanchallenger.com/berlin or BANGKOK http://urbanchallenger.com/bangkok – once you’ve signed up, we send you an invitation via Apple TestFlight or Google Play Store.

When do you plan on launching?

We will launch Berlin end of July. That means also our printed Card Deck will be available then which is already in production. Bangkok will we launched in October for the start of cool season in South East Asia.
