What does it do?

Recommendo is a mobile app to send personalized recommendations or requests for help to friends with just a few clicks. Everything received and other interesting discoveries can be collected, shared and discussed together with others.

Why do we need it?

As our friends know us best, recommendations by them are fitting and trustworthy. We all use them constantly, but mostly forget them directly after. Recommendo helps users to receive and organize them so they never forget any of them again.

Who is it for?

Recommendo is for everybody who is annoyed by ads and prefers valuable advice by people he/she can trust on instead. It’s also for all who want to make quick, sound decisions about the quality of anything like brands, products and events.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

The combination of features distinguishes Recommendo from any other existing solution. Additionally, users can not only target their internal network, but also send recommendations and requests over Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, SMS, etc.

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

Currently, users can apply for early access to the app and will be informed when each version (iOS and Android) goes live. We are planning to open for iOS in July 2015, for Android at the end of August 2015.
