What does it do?

Forest is a simple app that lets you see who is at a specific place at a glance. Set up a forest for anywhere you like, tell your friends to join and keep in the loop.

Why do we need it?

With Forest, you can stop calling and messaging friends and colleagues just to see if they’re at home or at the office. Forest lets you instantly see who’s where without check-ins, maps or messages.

Who is it for?

Forest can be used in a variety of different scenarios but these are some examples we think work well: families (especially to check up on the kids), office/shift workers, sports teams and students.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?

Other location services can feel bloated and packed with features you don’t really need when all you to find out is if someone is home or at work. Forest puts locations as the focus rather than people, showing you who’s “in” with a glance.

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

Forest is currently in a public beta for iOS/AppleWatch with a full store release and Android version coming in November. The 1st 1000 people to sign up at getforest.io will get access to the beta version.

When do you plan on launching?

Full release will be in November 2015.
